Before I left the city, I was collaborating with a small group of smart, creative and intellectually engaging artists to generate material for a play about food. The main question being: how does one turn such a large social/cultural dialogue into a personal story that teaches, and broadens without being pedantic. So I've been looking at other pieces of art that stir, teach, and have a component of the sustainable that might inform the work of the friends I've briefly had to leave in New York. These two artists are entirely different and uniquely wondrous.
