Last night, after a long two-show day, I nestled into a corner of my sofa and watched Stephane Brize's "Mademoiselle Chambon". It was gorgeous. Quiet, sensual, full of longing, and the unfulfilled potential of what could have been something truly stunning shared between two people.
Wept like a baby, it was so good. I also re-discovered the composer Edward Elgar. Look up his cello concerto in E minor Op. 85 It's the prettiest thing I've ever heard.
