I'm reposting. It seems that the "literary blogosphere is a-buzz". Papercuts, a nytimes literary blog, recently posted about an obscure site called I Write Like; a prose analyzer that allows you to plug-in samples of your writing to find out who your style most resembles.
I had to try it. The result: David Foster Wallace. Interesting. Note to self: must read more of him.
This is a tricky little device. I would imagine that for some, it has the ability to boost one's ego or burst one's bubble all in the click of a button. Try your luck? You could be the next Alexandre Dumas...or Dan Brown.
