Dear readers, friends, and passerby.  I am preparing for a trip to Greece - the belly of ancient civilization- to visit my sister!  This has been in the works for the past month and I can finally say, that the ticket has been bought, the packing is being negotiated, and a travel book is already in hand.  I will be spending a month in paradise, starting this Sunday.  Last week was spent shrugging off the strange guilt one often feels when they're indulging in the rest they so deeply need.  This week, I am resigning myself to the fact that marveling over Doric columns, playing in the Aegean Sea, and tasting freshly baked baklava might just save my life.

I write this in hopes that if you have any recommendations of extraordinary places to visit, beyond the usual extraordinary places,  let me know.  Although I try not to over schedule myself,  I do tend to be a determined wanderer when I travel.

It's raining buckets today on this side of the world.  Find a place you feel happy, amidst all the gray.  You deserve it.
